George Sanker’s image arrived !  It is from his love of the wilderness that he became a photographer. George hopes that his images will help in some small way,  the great environmental movement that has taken hold all around the world, led by people dedicated to preserving wilderness and wild animals.  His images are award winning and have been featured in countless books, calendars, and magazines.

For 45-years Robert Glenn Ketchum’s imagery and books have helped define contemporary color photography while also addressing critical national environmental issues. His advocate use of photography has inspired successive generations of image-makers to be purposeful with their work on behalf of social and environmental justice, earning his frequent comparison to Ansel Adams and Eliot Porter. Thank you Robert for donating one of your images to support the work the National Wildlife Federation is doing in the Gulf. Thank you Lynn, for your enthusiasm regarding the event.

David Hall’s underwater images have evolved to encompass aesthetic and environmental goals. They have appeared in hundreds of books, magazines, and calendars over the past 25 years. He has been the author or co-author of ten educational books on marine life,  and  a large format photographic book on the Pacific Northwest is forthcoming in 2011. It has always been his hope that his fascination with, and respect for, all living things would show up in his work and help to inspire similar feelings in others.   • After four years as a biologist in some of Canada’s most remote regions, Paul Nicklen decided that he could better serve wildlife populations be becoming a nature photojournalist. His work has received countless honors, including the 2010’s World Press Awards – 1st Prize Nature. Two of his images were listed among the 40 Best Nature Photographs of All Time ( ILCP) and subsequently auctioned at Christie’s Fine Art Auction House. We are excited that he is supporting the ASPP Silent Auction benefitting the NWF Gulf Efforts. Thank you Paul !
